Student Resources

Are you interested in a career in court reporting or captioning?

Court reporting is in high demand, and we’re looking for qualified reporters to join our ranks. Students typically take between two and four years to finish school, and the average starting salary is $43,000 according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Try it out for free with the A to Z program!

The National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) is offering a free six-week introductory course to court reporting. For more information and to sign up for the class, please visit ncra.org/discoversteno. This class teaches participants how to write the alphabet and basic words on a steno machine and offers the opportunity to see if court reporting is for you before you enroll in school.
