It’s that time of year again – this year our Spring Symposium is to be held on Saturday, April 27, 2002.  Once again, we will be at the Radisson Hotel (f/k/a Holiday Inn Southeast), I-225 and Parker Road (303) 695-1700.

Sue Mencer, who leads the state Department of Public Safety, a former FBI agent, moved from Washington, D.C. to Colorado in 1990 to supervise FBI programs dealing with international and domestic terrorism, foreign counter- intelligence and civil rights.  Hot topic: current events!

Robbyn R. Wacker, Ph.D. and Associate Dean at UNC, Professor/Gerontology, will discuss aging, myths and realities; what happens to us as we age, biological aspects of aging, physical, social and psychological aspects of aging, and what the future holds.

Gayle Davis, Ph.D. and Licensed Psychologist in private practice, who has been involved with sports psychology for more than 20 years, author of High Performance Thinking for Business, Sports, and Life, will discuss training techniques regarding mind over muscle.

David Thomas, Jefferson County District Attorney, will talk about Columbine – Three Years After.
